The “RoadPol – Safety devices” operation, is already a regular annual practice of the GNR and takes place within the scope of the European Traffic Police Network (RoadPol), an organisation created by the police of traffic in Europe to improve road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

The GNR emphasises that with this action “it also intends to raise awareness in society about safer behaviour on the part of drivers and passengers, with a view to promoting road safety and safeguarding human lives”.
