In the debate on the program of the XXIV Constitutional Government, in parliament, Luís Montenegro responded to Rui Rocha stating that the objectives defined in the macroeconomic scenario of the Democratic Alliance (AD) for economic growth between 2024 and 2028 “are to be fulfilled”.

“I even believe that, in 2024, we will have the possibility of exceeding the objective that we set out in our scenario. Especially because we started from what was in the State Budget and which was projected by the previous Government and which was, from that point of view, less optimistic than us regarding the behaviour of the economy”, he stated.
