In a statement, the GNR explains that it received several complaints, through the SOS Environment and Territory Line, "about the discharge of industrial waste in an unauthorised location".
At the indicated location, the GNR carried out inspections "at several companies", culminating in the detection of "six environmental infractions, in two of the companies inspected".
The total value of the infractions is 74,000 euros, "which could also rise to 440,000 euros during an investigation", explained the Guard.
Two infraction notices were drawn up, which were sent to the competent administrative entity, the General Inspectorate of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning (IGAMAOT).
"SEPNA is constituted as an environmental policy, competent to monitor, inspect, report and investigate violations of legislation that aims to protect nature, the environment and natural heritage, throughout the national territory", concluded the GNR in the statement.
