Although there are several such events further west, there was nothing regular in the Castro Marim/VRSA area.
A group was set up and is named Castro Marim Natterers' Club. They meet on a Wednesday morning from about 11 am, at Café Serafim, Rua de São Sebastião, Castro Marim 8950-121 (opposite the GNR). The owner of Cafe Serafim, Marco, has welcomed the group with open arms, is a charming host and the club members are spoiled.
They now have over 40 members and would love to welcome newcomers. Don't be put off by the numbers, not everyone turns up every week as some may have other commitments. They are a friendly bunch of ladies and men who, as a spin-off, have been able to offer help and advice to those needing it, as well as organising other events.
