UPx is designed for Learners aged 18+ seeking an alternative to traditional university education, offering a flexible and fast-track pathway to earning a degree from a prestigious university.

UPx combines travel, cultural immersion, and hands-on experiences with academic studies, allowing Learners to earn a degree while exploring different parts of the world. This transformative initiative expands opportunities for those aspiring to higher education, community service involvement, advanced apprenticeships, job pursuits, or career advancement. By focusing on lifelong learning, UPx encourages Learners to continuously enhance existing skills and acquire new ones tailored to their unique needs.

The UPx programme is structured around the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Management course, offered in partnership with Bolton University in the UK. The journey begins in Cascais, Portugal, where Learners complete the first portion of their studies. From there, they can choose their next destination from a list of options, including countries like Mozambique and Thailand. They will finish their journey in Cape Town, South Africa. Each destination incorporates internships and community service, ensuring that Learners gain practical experience, immerse themselves in the culture, and give back to the communities they visit.

UPx provides a comprehensive package that includes global experiences, accommodation, access to BGA Hubs, Learning Coaches, an academic Mentor, a digital learning platform, internships, community service opportunities, and more.
