Renovated and Ready for the Future

Following a total renewal of three million euros, Belavista da Luz – Wellness & Lifestyle Hotel, situated on Praia da Luz, Algarve, reopens its doors, now with a concept that will be in comfort, modernity and sustainability. The four stars unit, in addition to focusing on family getaways and the international market, also includes a supply adapted to digital nomads, which seek the balance of work and leisure in a paradise environment.

It was earlier this summer that the hotel reopened, coinciding with the celebration of its 30 years. Located on the stunning Praia da Luz, Lagos area, the hotel underwent a total renovation that lasted eight months, carried out by Konstrukaza and designed by the Architecture and Engineering Column.

Works covered all the hotel areas, from rooms to the restaurant, through the spa, gym, indoor pool and outdoor, bar, lobby, reception and gardens. The aim was to create a contemporary and stylish design, which not only reflects modernity but also significantly improves the quality of services, including the state-wide state-wide Wi-Fi installation.

The hotel rooms, divided into five typologies (Twin Vista Pool/Garden, Twin Vista Mar, Premium Vista Mar, Oceanfront Oasis, Suite Vista Mar), were fully transformed, preserving only a few elements of decoration, such as typically Portuguese tiles. With high-quality mattresses, Smart TV and Hospitality TV, each room now offers a fancy, comfortable and functional space.

The decoration of the remaining areas of the hotel is marked by the merger between the traditional and the contemporary, with a focus on comfort and soft, relaxing tones. The iconic terracotta shades facade was preserved, and the building layout provides stunning views over the coast of the Praia da Luz.

At the Terra-Mar restaurant, chef Angelo Starnini proposes a celebration of the flavors ailing, using regional products ranging from the coast to the Algarve mountain.

Among the dishes available, they highlight -if the Cataplana de Polvo, a true regional delicacy. In addition, the hotel is proud of its organic garden, which provides fresh, sustainable ingredients for the restaurant.

Bel’Acqua Spa offers wellness treatments with Scens products, a 100% organic and vegan brand, available upon reservation.

The new spa features sauna, jacuzzi, sensation shower and a gym equipped with state-of-the-art appliances.

The big news is the indoor pool, which provides a total relaxation experience regardless of the time of year. One of the most anticipated news is the padel camp, with high-quality conditions, ideal for those who want to challenge friends or family in a game. In addition, the wooden deck relaxation zone offers more options for guests looking for moments of quiet outdoors. Both the padel field, the spa services and the restaurant are available to the outside audiences, by reservation.

The Belavista da Luz – Wellness & Lifestyle Hotel is now best tailored to the needs and expectations of its customers, with a special focus on sustainability. The hotel has implemented photovoltaic panels, recycling practices and electric vehicle magazines, promoting resource savings.
