This celestial body is also known as Tsuchinschan-ATLAS or, as some astronomers consider it, the “Comet of the Century”.
The excitement surrounding this comet is due to the potential brightness it could display as it passes Earth.
It is believed that if the right conditions are met, this comet could be as bright as Saturn or Venus, says Meteored.
From October 10th onwards, enthusiasts will be able to look up at the sky (to the horizon) and see C/2023 A3 with the naked eye during the hours before dawn or after sunset. On 12 October, this celestial body will be at its closest point to Earth - just 71 million kilometres away.
Which area in the sky? That green neowise was pretty spectacular a few years ago!
