The concert by the British band, who released their latest album “Soft Tissue” in September, is scheduled for 9:30 pm on November 8th and tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, October 9th, from 2:30 pm, costing 17 euros.

Tickets can be purchased at the TMC ticket office, Worten or on the Ticketline digital platform and are limited to six tickets per person.

The first show of the month at TMC is the concert “Sakamoto – 1996”, on the 2nd, by the trio composed of João Vasco (piano), Pedro Lopes (violin) and Fernando Costa (cello), who recreate the songs of the Japanese composer.

On the 6th, the “Isabel Rato Quinteto - Vale das Flores” will take to the stage, a group that combines Portuguese music with Jazz and improvisation.

The Ensemble Orquestral da Beira Interior, directed by Bruno Borralhinho and featuring Filipe Quaresma, also from Covilhã, on the cello, will perform on the 19th, interpreting works by Debussy and premiering a new composition by Luís Tinoco. Admission is free.

On the 23rd of November, it will be the turn of the theatre, by the company Lama Teatro, which will present “The Fundamental Laws of Human Stupidity”, a play directed by João de Brito, also the lead, alongside Noiserv and Raquel Fradique.

The Companhia Instável, with “Take”, will present a dance show on the 30th, created by São Castro and António M. Cabrita and conceived in a choreographic structure composed of “takes”, defined as frames of the moment, which combine reality and fiction.

The venue will also host the play “Respirar (doze vezes)” by Teatro Art’Imagem on the 14th at 2:30 pm, and the dance/theatre show for families “El Pozo de los mil Demonios” by the Karlik Danza Teatro company on the 16th at 4:00 pm, both as part of the Covilhã Theatre Festival, organised by Teatro das Beiras.

Tickets cost six euros, with discounts for those aged over 65 and under 30.
