In a statement, the security force informs that it carried out an inspection at a commercial establishment, where various materials used in gambling were exposed for sale.
This material, explains the GNR, "was being sold illegally".
After the action, the suspect was arrested and charged with selling gambling games.
Material intended for illegal gambling was also seized, including 77 boxes of the 'Bingo' game and 25 bags with the same gambling material.
The facts were communicated to the Vila Do Conde Judicial Court.
It should be noted that games of chance "are those whose results are based exclusively or fundamentally on luck, and their exploration and practice are permitted only in casinos and in duly authorised and licensed locations".
Burn a bus? Nothing to see here.
Sell bingo cards? That's serious stuff.
