The festivities will begin on December 30 at 10pm with a performance by Algarve native Dino D’Santiago, followed by a set by DJ Ana Isabel Arroja, ensuring the crowd dances until 1am. The evening will also include a live broadcast from Rádio Comercial between 7pm and 10pm.
On New Year’s Eve, the band Xutos e Pontapés aims to bring thousands of people to their feet with a special concert at 10pm, performing their greatest hits in celebration of their 45th anniversary. The countdown to 2025 will culminate in a spectacular live act of the largest drone show ever produced in Portugal, and DJ Diego Miranda, one of the greatest DJs in the world today and Top 1 nationally, will welcome the New Year into the early morning.
Complementing the main events are several activities, including the Paderne Medieval Festival, a five-day journey back to the 14th century with historical reenactments, medieval markets, and traditional delicacies, running from December 28 to January 2.
The International Street Food Festival will return to Largo Eng.º Pacheco and Avenida da Liberdade, offering culinary delights from December 28 to 31 in a sustainable, plastic-free setting. Scheduled to take place between 6pm and 2am, the event will host over 10 International Gastronomy Outlets, curated by Chef Nuno Bergonse, who is known to the general public for having been a judge on “Masterchef Portugal”, and is one of the best-known names in international Street Food.
