The Azorean executive justifies the adjustment in the maximum sales price to the public with “recent variations in the international market in reference prices for petroleum and energy products”.

On the first day of 2025, petrol will cost 1,530 euros per litre in the Azores, 0.7 cents more than in December.

The price of diesel will be set at €1.459 per litre in January, registering an increase of 3.6 cents compared to the previous month.

The price of coloured diesel for agriculture and fishing, defined in another order, also increases by 3.6 cents per litre in January.

It is the second consecutive increase in fuel prices in the Azores after petrol increased by 0.9 cents per litre in December and diesel by 1.9 cents.
