This is the first area managed by Camping-Car Park in Portugal located on the coast (in this case, right in front of Praia da Costa de Lavos), and joins the two areas opened in 2023, Pinhel and Penacova, both inland of the country.
The ASA de Lavos offers a total of 63 spaces and is equipped with essential services for motorhome users, including drinking water and waste disposal – as well as security and lighting control. The space is also served by public toilet facilities, located just 50 meters away. The price for an overnight stay is 8 euros and reservations can be made via the Camping-Car Park website or app, according to a report by Publituris.
With the integration of ASA de Lavos into its network, Camping Car Park now offers 118 spaces for motorhomes in Portugal, distributed across three service areas: Pinhel (23), Penacova (32) and, now, Lavos (63).
It is worth mentioning that Camping-Car Park has more than 600 ASA in its European network, areas often owned by third parties (individuals, municipalities and other entities) that the company manages autonomously, providing all services, maintenance and support to the client.
Through the Camping-Car Park website or mobile app, motorhome users can easily choose their preferred area and reserve a spot in advance, so as not to have any surprises when it comes to spending the night.
Great so now the police can do their job and clamp down on the massive influx of bedrooms on wheels that blight the entire country.
They all have a sense of entitlement thinking its ok to simply park where they want including in front of peoples homes.
They leave litter and excrement everywhere they go,
Time for a total ban on any campervan not parking in designated areas
