The Secretary of State stressed that there are priority covid-19 diagnostic tests for firefighters and highlighted the work done in recent months by voluntary fire brigades, who "never failed to respond to the various requests." During the discussion of the OE for 2021, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Eduardo Cabrita assured that he will maintain the support of €85 daily to fire brigades for the duration of the pandemic of Covid-19.
