The 1400 help Line, through which it is possible to obtain information on pharmacies with 24-hour service, place orders or pre-reserve medicines, avoiding unnecessary travel, has already provided support to more than 50 thousand Portuguese, with more than 10 thousand requests.

Medicines or health products are later delivered to the home or collected at the pharmacy of the user's choice.

The National Line 1400 is the result of a project promoted by pharmacies, the Ministry of Health and local health units in the north of the country, having been extended to the entire national territory in March last year, including autonomous regions, due to the pandemic by covid-19.
