Lisbon: The weekend is to be dry and bright in the capital with temperatures reaching highs of 20 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. On Monday and Wednesday there will be a 50 percent chance of rain and temperatures are to remain steady with average daily highs of 17 degrees and nightly lows of 11 degrees.
The north: It is to be a sunny weekend in the north with the best of the weather on Saturday when it will reach 18 degrees and lows of 8 degrees. From Sunday there will be a chance of rain and this is to increase as the new week begins when temperatures will reach average daily highs of 15 degrees and nightly lows of 7 degrees.
The centre: The spring weather is to continue in the centre this weekend with average daily highs of 17 degrees and nightly lows of 8 degrees. From Monday, cloud cover is to increase with the highest chance of rain on Wednesday and average highs of 15 degrees and nightly average lows of 7 degrees.
The south: Intermittent cloud and sunny periods will occur throughout the weekend in the south with temperatures reaching highs of 19 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. The chance of rain is to increase from Monday but it is to remain warm with daily highs of 20 degrees and nightly lows dropping to 11 degrees.
Madeira: Temperatures are to fall slightly over the weekend to highs of 21 degrees and lows of 13 degrees but it is to remain mainly sunny with intermittent cloud cover. From Monday the thermometer is on the rise again to highs of 22 degrees and the fair weather is to continue for the remainder of the week.
The Azores: It is to be a dry weekend in the Azores with the best of the weather expected on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 16 degrees and to drop to nightly lows of 12 degrees. There will be an increased chance of rain on Monday and Wednesday but it is to be mainly dry for the remainder of the week
Luckily we are having a lot of rain in the Algarve, hopefully continuing through March. The reservoirs need filling!
