The list of countries to be removed from the red list was announced yesterday and also include Angola and Cape Verde. Minister of Transport Grant Shapps stated that the government will also be "making changes so travellers visiting England have fewer entry requirements, by recognising those with fully-vax status from 37 new countries and territories including India, Turkey and Ghana, treating them the same as UK fully vax passengers"
With this latest set of changes to the rules for entry into the UK the minister stated that on the red list there were "just 7 countries and territories remaining - all others will be included in the “rest of world” category"
The countries being removed from the red list on October 11th are; Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Congo (Democratic Republic), Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Georgia, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mayotte, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, Venezuela, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Why is it that Portugal doesn't allow people from the UK to come for a holiday , whilst doubled jabbed , but not able to show the EU vaccination passport , (only our UK record) , and require a lateral flow test. ? Surely Portugal will lose out to holiday resorts in Spain etc. ...who do not require UK tourists to take a lateral flow test, and recognise the UK vaccine certificate to enter. Come on Portugal , we may not still be in the EU, but still love your country and people.

Typical Brits more big mistakes to follow all the others. But don't worry infection only in the very high 30,000. Not a problem for the IDIOT PM & is disgusting Parliament.
