Following the opening of the first store in Lisbon, in Areeiro, DHL Express continues to follow its growth strategy in the national market.

The company currently has a reception open to the public at its facilities at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, in Maia, however, it was seen as also being essential for the company to be present in the city centre of Porto.

The new store, located at Rua de Sá da Bandeira 619, was created as a matter of convenience, proximity and to facilitate the transport of national and international orders.

Customers will be able to pick up and ship their shipments, every working day from 9:30am to 6:30pm.

“The opening of this new DHL Express store, in the heart of Invicta, responds to the high demand for our services in the Porto district. In addition, we want to simplify our national and international express transport solutions, so that our customers can send and receive their orders and documents in the fastest, safest and most convenient way, without having to go to the airport to ship the your orders. Additionally, this new store also reinforces the presence of DHL Express in Portugal as well as the brand's notoriety”, says José Reis, general manager of DHL Express Portugal.

In addition to the opening of the new store in Porto, DHL Express plans to open two more this year, units that will complement the 11 facilities and more than 375 stores in the DHL Service Points network with express service.
