Lisbon: Clear skies and high temperatures are predicted on Saturday when thermometers are to peak at 29 degrees. On Sunday cloud cover is to increase slightly and from Monday temperatures are to begin to fall slightly down to daily average highs of 26 degrees and down to lows of 14 degrees.
The north: It will be feeling like summer in the north with temperatures reaching maximums of 31 degrees over the weekend and mainly clear skies. From Monday cloud cover is to increase and there will be a chance of rain, while temperatures are to fall to highs of 27 degrees and to lows of 13 degrees.
The centre: Very high temperatures are predicted over the weekend with highs of up to 36 degrees expected, although intermittent cloud is also forecast. From Monday the thermometers will fall down to more reasonable levels of 29 degrees with average nightly lows dropping down to 14 degrees.
The south: The very high temperatures are set to continue over the weekend with maximum highs of 34 degrees forecast and nightly lows of 22 degrees. From Monday slight cloud cover is predicted and temperatures are to fall to daily highs of 31 degrees, with nightly lows of 17 degrees forecast for the Algarve.
Madeira: Sunny spells are predicted throughout the weekend with average daily highs of 27 degrees and nightly lows of 19 degrees. The weather is to remain the same for the rest of the week with a slight chance of rain on Wednesday.
The Azores: A grey weekend is forecast for the Azores with the highest chance of rain being on Saturday. The intermittent cloud cover is to continue for the rest of the week and on Tuesday rain is set to return.
