Lisbon: Clear
skies and high temperatures are forecast over the weekend with highs of 34
expected on Saturday and 32 degrees on Sunday.
On Monday, intermittent cloud cover is predicted, which is set to
continue for the rest of the week but temperatures are to fall to average daily
highs of 28 degrees.
The north: It is
to be extremely hot in the north with highs of 40 degrees expected on Sunday
and clear skies. The high temperatures
are to continue on Monday and Tuesday but there will be intermittent cloud,
before dropping to highs of 34 degrees on Wednesday, with the cloud continuing.
The centre: High
temperatures are to continue in the centre, with thermometers hitting 37
degrees on Saturday and 38 degrees on Sunday. From Monday intermittent cloud is
predicted but temperatures will remain at 38 degrees. From Thursday it is to be cooler with highs
of 34 degrees.
The south: The
summer weather continues in the south with temperatures to reach 31 degrees
during the day over the weekend and dropping to lows of 22 degrees at
night. From Monday, cloud cover and
sunny spells are expected and temperatures are to increase slightly up to highs
of 32 degrees.
Madeira: The best
of the weekend weather is predicted for Sunday, when clouds are to clear
slightly and temperatures are to reach highs of 26 degrees and lows of 20
degrees. The fair weather is to continue
into the next week with a slight rise in temperature to highs of 27 degrees on
Tuesday.
The Azores: Sunny
spells and intermittent cloud is expected over the weekend with temperatures
peaking at highs of 26 degrees and dropping to lows of 21 degrees. It is to remain dry until Wednesday when
there will be a chance of rain again.
