Among the new winter
destinations on the network are Nantes (France), Rovaniemi (Finland), Aarhus
(Denmark) or Katowice (Poland), with the company informing that it will continue
to operate flights to Austin (Texas) in the USA, which were introduced in the
summer.
With regard to the
operation in Portugal, KLM indicates a growth of more than 30% this winter
compared to the same period in 2019, as a result of the increase in frequencies
between Porto and Amsterdam-Schiphol, starting to operate two daily flights in
both directions, against the one flight per day in 2019.
From/to Lisbon and the
company's hub in the Netherlands, one more flight will also be added to the two
that KLM had daily in 2019. Thus, the Portuguese capital will now have three
daily flights in both directions, the offer being complemented by that of its
partner Air France, which continues its flights between Lisbon or Porto and the
company's hub in Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
The group will also
continue to offer direct codeshare flights with its transatlantic joint venture
partner, Delta Air Lines, from Lisbon to New York-JFK.
