According to a note
from the District Attorney General of Lisbon (PGDL), the defendants entered the
country on October 13, 2022, and the crimes took place the following day, in a
hotel on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon.
According to the PGDL,
while one of the defendants was watching, the other two entered one of the
rooms (in the hotel) and took possession of various goods, namely jewellery and
leather goods, worth almost €28,500.
The defendants were
intercepted, on October 15, at Lisbon airport, as they were preparing to leave
the country, in possession of a large part of the stolen objects.
The investigation is
led by the Lisbon Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP), with
the assistance of the Public Security Police (PSP).
The saga of Portugal and its unpatroled and uncontrolled borders continues.

Free for all mostly for the refined criminals! They are arrested, if and when they are, and release next day with an excuse! Instead, they should be put into forced labour until their debts are paid, expelled, or better delivered to the embassies of the respective countries. Currently, the police is dis-authorized and afraid of intervening because when they do the officers are often the ones to suffer and pay!
