According to a report by SEB AB, 55 percent of households in Sweden
believe that prices will continue to slide, with only 22 percent
predicting a change in fortunes and an uplift in the market. “Consumer
confidence continues to be depressed; in particular, consumers’ view on
their own finances is at rock bottom,” the bank said.

The price of houses in Sweden has fallen by 10 percent already this year, with experts predicting that they could fall by another 20 percent.
