The districts of Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga will be under a yellow warning between 09:00 today and 06:00 on Wednesday.

The districts of Castelo Branco and Guarda are also on a yellow warning today due to the wind, with gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour (km/h) expected in the highlands (between 12:00 today and 06:00 on Wednesday) and because of the snowfall above 1,400 metres.

The IPMA also placed the districts of Porto, Guarda, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga under a yellow warning because of high seas.

The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 4 degrees Celsius (in Guarda and Bragança) and 12 (in Aveiro and Lisbon) and the maximum between 12 (in Guarda) and 20 (in Faro).
