The PAN proposal was approved with the votes against Chega,
the abstention of the PSD, and the favourable votes of the remaining benches.
“During the year 2023, with a view to ensuring equality for
transgender people, nationals residing abroad, with regard to access and speed
of the request for registration to change sex and first name, the Government
carries out the necessary steps to ensure the standardisation of procedures at
the Posts of the Consular Network”, reads the PAN proposal.
The measure foresees that this will take place, namely in
relation to the completion of the application and recognition of the signature,
“so that citizens are autonomous in sending the application to the Central Services of the Institute of Registries and Notaries”.

The more I read about the Chega party, the more I like it. They seem to be living in reality, unlike all the rest, including the mainstream media. The more the mainstream media despises a politician, the more stable he appears to be.
Men can be women and women can be men. Science followed by the most unstable and reality-detached of minds. And they have power over us and our children. Be very afraid. The future looks terrifying.

Joe from Alentejo: if you do believe in basic Biology (as you say?), then you should know that people (and other species, too) born with both female and male external genitalia exist. Nature created them so. So it is people like you that are deeply confused about what “Biology” is. Recommended read “Sexing the body”, by Anne Fausto Sterling. Read it when I was 19 and it educated me, because like you, I had no knowledge or references on this topic. The Biology argument loses because of transgender/intersex people, they have ALWAYS existed in Nature. (As a woman I have no problem with transgender or even people going through gender transition using the same toilets as I. We all have to pee/poo/wash our hands. Toilets are for “toilet” use, not sexual activity, so who cares, anyway?)

Guida, as per usual it seems you are the one who is confused, but as per usual, you are also the one repeating everything television tells you.
There is nature and there is nature. In nature, yes there are outliers. 0.0018% could be identified as intersex people. We used to call them hermaphrodites.
They are not the norm, they are, as in nature occurs, extreme deviations from the natural norm.
But what is happening right now all over the western world is different, it's nurturing a very serious confusion, especially in vulnerable and impressionable young people, which is deeply disturbing. A man IS a man, and a woman IS. woman. There are no ifs or buts. They are not hermaphrodites, they are not intersex, they are either male or female. Their genetic make up and their genitalia confirms this. What they feel is irrelevant. A fully grown male is free to identify as a cat, and lick himself and go potty in a box, he's still not a cat. Neither genetically not visually.
So while many deeply confused people might absorb this global mass psychosis of not knowing what they are, despite this being the easiest thing on earth to identify, and are free to identify as one of the 80+ new genders that has no foundation in reality, the reasonable people who rightly recognise the absurdity of this all, are free to treat them like they have some sort of mental illness.
As for you having read some book when you were 19.....you should perhaps realise that the brains stops fully forming in the mid 20s.

Dear Guida - the word you are looking for is Hermaphrodite.
I used to be a Nurse and have worked with these people.
It is a serious medical condition, especially for the person making Chioces.
This condition has Nothing to do with present day sexual orientation which the media is having a frenzy with.
My wife has a real problem with men proclaiming to be women wishing to use showers and toilets.
Does the book you recommend explain why young boys are taking hormones and strong castration drugs to fulfil a desire to have medical surgery remove healthy body parts with a knife?
There are millions of children and adults who need serious corrective surgery to live a better life and instead, surgeons are cutting thigh tissue in an attempt to form a false Penis.
That's OK is it?

Joe, it's simply put, genital mutilation. State sponsored and approved, and media pushed and driven. Whoever believes that this is acceptable to do, to anyone (let alone teens!) before the age of 25, and after thorough psychological evaluation, is a either a criminal with no ethics or morals, or an accessory to crime.
Parents everywhere need to stand up to this madness and protect their children from this dystopian nightmare.
To believe that fully grown intact men can freely use womens' toilets and changing rooms where mothers go with their children, and are used by teenage girls, is opening the door to predators. Whoever advocated for this, is naive at best, and at worst, openly sexualising children, by burning down the societal boundaries installed to protect them.
