Players of the Euromillions lottery should check their
tickets this morning, as the jackpot of €26 million from the 27 December draw,
was won in Portugal.

According to the official website of Jogos Santa Casa, there
was a player in Portugal who matched the five numbers and two stars and won the
'jackpot', worth 26,956,990.00 euros.
There were no other jackpot winners and two players abroad won a second prize, worth €259,877.42, and another a third prize, worth €121,475.27.
The winning numbers are: 19-31-33-34-43
The winning stars are: 3-5

Remember the lucky winner in Loures has to pay tax on his Euro-millions winnings at a rate of 20% starting from €5,000. The Portuguese Govt expects to go laughing to the Central Bank with a cheque for €5,2million from Jogossantamaria who will deduct the taxable amount from the winner's winning.
