With this partial stoppage, tax workers intend to show their displeasure at "professional devaluation" and the "collapse of the Tributary and Customs Authority (AT)", according to the STI in a statement.
The strike, whose prior notice was issued this Tuesday, will start from March, covering "the first three hours and the last three of the working day", and may be renewed for "equal monthly periods, until the end of 2023 or until the STI sees its claims met".
In addition to the strike, the STI will also organise worker rallies and other protest initiatives, which will be announced later.
Hopefully their pay will reflect the loss of hours that they are available to the taxpayer.
