Lisbon: Rain is predicted on Saturday in the capital when temperatures will reach highs of 13 degrees and drop to lows of 8 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry and will feel warmer with highs of 15 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. Hazy cloud is forecast for Monday before becoming cooler on Tuesday.

The north: A wet Saturday is on the cards in the north with highs of 12 degrees and lows of 3 degrees. On Sunday it is to be brighter with highs of 15 degrees and lows of 1 degree. The nights are to remain cold from Monday with average lows of 0 degrees but it will be sunny with intermittent cloud.

The centre: Rain is forecast on Saturday when it will reach highs of 10 degrees and lows of 4 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry with highs of 13 degrees and lows of 3 degrees. Clearer skies are expected from Monday but it will be feeling cooler with lows dropping to averages of 0 degrees and highs of 11 degrees.

The south: Showers are forecast throughout the weekend in the south with average highs of 15 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. From Monday it is to be dry and sunny with intermittent cloud and average highs of 16 degrees with lows of 7 degrees. Rain is one again predicted in the south from Thursday.

Madeira: A mixture of sunshine and showers is expected throughout the weekend when temperatures are to reach highs of 21 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. On Monday it is to be mainly dry with highs of 20 degrees. Rain is due again on Tuesday and to ease off again on Wednesday.

The Azores: A grey weekend is forecast in the Azores although it is to be mainly dry on Saturday before rain returns on Sunday and temperatures reach highs of 18 degrees and lows of 14 degrees. Monday is to be sunny with hazy high cloud but showers are predicted for the remainder of the week.
