The event takes place on a 9-hole putting green that is, to say the least, far from a level playing field, and can be quite a challenge even for seasoned golfers.

The winner of the coveted Helen Cafolla trophy this time, with 39 strokes was Jette James.

Jerry Campion was a close second, on 40 strokes.

After the competition, the guests enjoyed an excellent buffet lunch and the conversation turned to the next big Society event which will be the annual Dinner Dance.

This will take place on Friday, 10th of March, in the Jupiter Hotel in Praia da Rocha, at 7 pm.

Tickets are €40 for members and €45 for non-members.
