The week started with good weather and today you can expect practically a summer day, with highs reaching 30 degrees in some regions.

According to the forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), today there will be some high clouds, while the wind will be "weak", blowing "temporarily moderate (15 to 25 km/h) from the east quadrant in the Algarve and becoming moderate to strong (30 to 40 km/h) from the south in the highlands of the north coast".

The IPMA predicts a "small rise in temperature", warning, however, of a "sharp nocturnal cooling".

The maximums will vary between 30 degrees, in Santarém, and 21 degrees, in Viana do Castelo and Guarda. It should be noted that several districts will reach 28 degrees, as is the case of Beja, Évora and Leiria. In Setúbal, Portalegre, Castelo Branco and Coimbra the thermometers will hit 26 degrees.

The minimums will oscillate between 14 degrees, in Faro, and 6 degrees, in Bragança.
