There are six new airlines operating at Porto airport: airBaltic, Austrian Airlines, Norwegian, PLAY, SAS Scandinavian Airlines and Sun D’Or. Another asset of ANA Aeroportos de Portugal is the reinforcement of direct long-haul flights to Luanda, as well as charter flights to Cancun and Punta Cana. These routes come within the scope of the company's strategy of "attracting more routes and connectivity at this airport, essential for the development and sustainability of regional and national tourism and economic activity".

France, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Germany occupy the podium of the main airport passenger markets outside Portugal. However, “ANA | VINCI Airports achieved a strong recovery in traffic at Porto airport, which served more than 12.6 million passengers in 2022, representing an increase of 116.3% compared to the previous year”.
