A market source told ECO that a litre of petrol will drop by 2.5 cents and diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, will fall by 0.5 cents next week.
As of this Monday, when you go to fill up, you will have to pay 1,439 euros per litre for simple diesel and 1,653 euros per litre for simple 95 petrol, taking into account the average values charged at the pumps on Mondays, released by the Directorate- of Energy and Geology (DGEG).
These prices already take into account the discounts applied by petrol stations and the review of temporary fiscal measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.
