“But a decision will come”, said Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa after being questioned, during his visit to the National Agriculture Fair, about whether, in 2029, he would like to land at Santarém airport.

“I would like to land at the new airport before 2029 and for that I would like to make sure that by the end of this year there is a clear idea about the new airport”, he said.

“After this long wait for an airport, which has been planned for more than 50 years, whatever the decision, there will always be those who agree and those who disagree, but a decision will come,” he said.
