The analysis of the remuneration structure of employees (TCO) who worked full time is included in the report on employment and training for 2022, by the Center for Labor Relations (CRL).
"In 2021, the analysis of the remuneration structure of TCOs who worked full time, with regard to the basic monthly remuneration, shows that more than half of the workers (66.9%) were concentrated in the remuneration range between '665.00 and the 999.99 euros'", says the document.
The “1,000 to 2,499.9 euros” bracket represented 27.8% of workers, while in the next category (between 2,500 and 4,999.99 euros) there were 4.2%, with only 0.7% having a base salary monthly over 5,000 euros.
By comparison with the previous edition of this report, it appears that the percentage of workers with a base salary between the minimum wage (which in 2020 was 635 euros) and 999.99 euros increased, rising from 52.7% to 66,9%.
According to the report, in October 2021, the average monthly earnings, on the mainland, of full-time TCOs was 1,294.10 euros, a figure that represents a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, having “slightly” attenuated the difference between genders.
"The average monthly earnings for men was 1,395.69 euros, while for women totalled 1,172.07 euros", indicates the CRL, specifying that "both grew, compared to 2020, "although women more than men, so the difference between average salaries softened slightly", maintaining the trend registered over the last few years.
In this way, in 2021, the average monthly female salary represented 84% of the male salary when, five years ago, it constituted 81.7%.
It's not enough,, according to tax it's not enough. People work whole month without any holiday, but if you missed single day here your whole budget dismissed, please try to understand it's 2023 , please think like 2023 in terms of development.

And how many of these people make money under the table? In my experience a lot of income comes without paying taxes and are not in the statistics.

It's comforting to know that companies like Altice and TAP to name a few continue to defraud Tax payers and live comfortable lives...They feel entitled to do it...In the U.S. A majority of the Population makes less than 36k a year...where defrauding is Epic...
