To start our culinary journey, we indulged in a glass of chilled red wine, specifically the Dão Niepoort. It’s refreshing and fruity notes made it a perfect choice for a hot day like the one we experienced.

For appetizers, we delighted in the Portobello mushrooms prepared with garlic and oil, which offered a delightful burst of flavour and set a promising tone for the rest of the meal.

Moving on to the main course, we were treated to a fantastic dish of Gnocchi with mushrooms, green asparagus, and spinach. The combination of these ingredients created a symphony of flavours that delighted our palates and left us wanting more. The dish was truly divine and undoubtedly the standout of our dining experience.

While the mushroom risotto also proved to be tasty, it paled in comparison to the exquisite Gnocchi, which stole the spotlight with its exceptional taste and texture.


Lastly, the dessert selection at Olivalmar Beach Restaurant proved to be a highlight of our visit. Based on the recommendation of our knowledgeable waitress, who had previous experience working in the kitchen, we indulged in the Raspberry Panna Cotta with red fruit sorbet and a delightful concoction of fresh pineapple with coriander. Both desserts were simply delightful, leaving us with a lasting impression of the chef's skill and creativity.
