These variations take place at a time when the average price of simple diesel is €1,634/litre, while that of simple 95 petrol is €1,818/litre, according to data from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
At the beginning of this week, the average price of simple petrol increased by 6.8 cents. Simple diesel was 7.1 cents more expensive.
In this regard, the National Association of Fuel Resellers (ANAREC) called on the Government to be transparent with the revenue collected and considered that consumers are increasingly burdened with taxes.
"Contrary to what the government intends to convey, consumers are increasingly burdened with taxes", said ANAREC in a statement, asking the Government for "transparency" in the tax revenue collected, "for each liter or kilo of fuel".
