The price of petrol is expected to rise by one cent and diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, is to become half a cent more expensive, according to ECO.

When you go to fill up, you will pay €1,568 per litre of regular diesel and €1,716 per litre of regular 95 petrol, taking into account the average values practiced at the pumps on Monday, published by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).

These values already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.

This week, diesel prices fell by two cents and gasoline by 0.1 cent, falls below market expectations that pointed to drops of three and 0.5 cents, respectively.
