Young people in this age group will have free entry, "framed by the celebrations of the day, which in Portugal is organized by the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth".

"In this way, International Youth Day, which in 2023 aims to highlight the importance of 'Green skills for youth: Towards a sustainable world', also presents itself as an opportunity for the young people involved to visit museums, palaces and monuments dependent on the DGPC, enriching the celebrations in question".

International Youth Day is celebrated annually on August 12, with the aim of recognising the fundamental role of young people in societies, and various entities are associated with the celebrations, drawing attention to youth issues.

Every year, on this date, local authorities, associations and organisations linked to youth organise concerts, workshops, cultural events and meetings on the proposed theme, which this year focuses on the relevance of ecological skills, especially for younger people.
