The company has invested €4.5 million in the new store in Alcácer do Sal, which has a sales area of around 1,040m2.

Located in the upper part of the city, at one of the main entrances to Alcácer, the new Aldi store is 700 meters from the Bus Terminal and the Health Centre.

For João Braz Teixeira, Managing Director Expansion and Construction at ALDI Portugal, “the opening of this ALDI store brings new life to the supermarket offer in the city of Alcácer, with enormous potential to attract foreign tourists who are on holiday in the Troia and Comporta area, as many already know us from their home countries. Until the end of the year, we will again focus on the district, with a new location in Grândola, thus being present in 12 of the 13 district councils”.
