The Azorean executive justifies the adjustment in the maximum sales price to the public with "recent variations in the international market in reference prices for petroleum and energy products".

From November 1st, gasoline costs 1.514 euros per litre in the Azores, two cents less than in October (it costs 1.536 euros per litre).

The price of diesel is set at €1.404 per litre in November, also registering a drop of two cents compared to the previous month (it cost €1.420 per litre).

Butane gas sold in cylinders, piped or in bulk maintains its price, ranging from € 1,348 per kilogram (in bulk) to € 1,618 per kilogram (24 litre bottles, made of light materials, sold to the public, at the place of consumption).

The maximum prices of petroleum and energy products in the Autonomous Region of the Azores are "changed on the 1st of each month and in amounts equivalent to the variation in the value of the monthly Europe Price (PE), in accordance with Government Council resolution no. 44/2024, of June 4th.

On June 5, the Azorean executive increased the Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products (ISP) rate by 2.7 cents on gasoline and 10 cents on diesel.
