From Monday a litre of diesel is expected to increase by 2 cents and a litre of petrol is to go up in price by 1.5 cents according to a report by ECO.
From next week when you go to fill up, you will have to pay 1,722 euros per litre of simple diesel and 1,867 euros per litre of 95 simple petrol, taking into account the average values charged at the pumps on Mondays, disclosed by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG).
You have to go back to October last year to find a higher price paid for a litre of petrol (1.881 euros) and, in the case of diesel, until November (1.777 euros).
