Lisbon: A wet weekend is on the cards for the capital with a chance of some sunny spells on Saturday when temperatures are to hit highs of 23 degrees, with lows of 18 degrees. The rain is to continue on Monday but it is to be dry from Tuesday with average daily highs of 26 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.
The north: Sunny spells and showers are forecast on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at 24 degrees. On Sunday, rain is expected throughout the day. Monday and Tuesday are to be a mixture of sunshine and showers with average daily highs of 24 degrees and nightly lows of 13 degrees.
The centre: Rain is forecast throughout the weekend with the heaviest showers predicted for Sunday when temperatures are to peak at highs of 23 degrees with lows of 14 degrees. The rain is to continue on Monday and Tuesday although there will be a chance of some sunny spells with highs of 24 degrees.
The south: Heavy rain is to continue on Saturday with highs of 23 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. Sunday and Monday are to be mostly sunny with intermittent cloud cover. By Tuesday it will be feeling warmer still with prolonged sunny periods and average highs of 26 degrees, and lows of 18 degrees.
Madeira: The weather is to be stable over the weekend with intermittent sunshine and cloud and average highs of 26 degrees. From Tuesday the cloud cover is to decrease with thermometers to rise up to 27 degrees by the end of the week.
The Azores: It is to be mainly dry over the weekend with average highs of 23 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. Monday will be slightly warmer with highs of 24 degrees and clearer skies. Rain is set to return from Wednesday.
