The National Statistics Institute (INE) has revised the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2022 upwards by 0.1 percentage points to 6.8%.

According to the 2022 “Annual National Accounts” - still provisional, but which incorporate new statistical information - GDP (at market prices) grew 6.8% in volume in 2022, the highest value since 1987 and an improvement compared to the 6.7% estimated in February by the statistical body.
INE also updated the final value for 2021, the year in which GDP recorded a growth of 5.7%.
