The meeting between the Wolves and the Wallabies is scheduled for Sunday, at 4:45 pm (Lisbon time), in Saint-Étienne.

Portugal is coming off a draw (18-18) with Georgia, the first in a World Cup, after four defeats in 2007 and a new defeat (28-8), against Wales.

Australia, despite having entered the World Cup with a victory (35-15) over Georgia, lost in the second round against Fiji (22-15), for the first time in more than 70 years, and suffered its biggest defeat against Wales (40-6), on Sunday.

The results leave the team coached by Eddie Jones on the verge of being knocked out of the World Cup.

After the game with Australia, the Wolves still have a match scheduled with the Fiji Islands, on October 8, which ends the group stage of França2023.

The France2023 Rugby World Cup started on September 8th and will run until October 28th.
