The social unemployment benefit for those who live alone will rise from the current 384 euros to 408 euros in January, as a result of the increase in the index that guides the various social benefits, according to ECO calculations. The minimum and maximum limits for unemployment benefit will also be reinforced, as will the death benefit, the social integration income and the minimum daily sickness benefit, which will increase from 4.8 euros to 5.1 euros.

By law, the Social Support Index (IAS) is updated annually based on economic growth over the last two years and the price trajectory over the last 12 months.
