Espírito Santo, 49 years old, left the command of Saudi side Al Ittihad at the beginning of November, after leading the Jeddah team to the title of championship last season. He is now heading to England to replace Steve Cooper in the 17th ranked team in the Premier League.
This will be the Portuguese coach's third experience in England, where he coached Wolverhampton, between 2017 and 2021, leading the Wolves to the top flight, and Tottenham, where he had a shorter experience, just two months, between August and October 2021.
Nottingham Forest, in which Portuguese full-back Nuno Tavares plays, is in 17th place in the Premier League, with 14 points, five above the relegation zone.
