According to newspaper Correio da Manha, among the almost 200 municipalities that have communicated their IMI rates for 2024, a majority have opted to maintain existing rates; 32 municipalities have chosen to lower their IMI rates, and Vila Real de Santo António stands out for having the highest disclosed rate, at 0.5%.
