Portugal with 9th lowest minimum wage

O salário mínimo nacional tem vindo a subir, mas PT mantém-se entre os 10 países europeus com salário mínimo mensal mais baixo, em PPC. A Bulgária está no fundo da tabela e a Alemanha e o Luxemburgo são os países onde o poder de compra do salário mínimo é maior.

"The national minimum wage has been rising, but Portugal remains among the 10 European countries with the lowest monthly minimum wage, in PPP [purchasing power parity]", says Pordata, in a post shared on social media.

Bulgaria is at the bottom of the table and Germany and Luxembourg are the countries where the purchasing power of the minimum wage is highest, indicates the same data.

Minimum wage in Portugal increased to 820 euros this year, which means an increase of 60 euros compared to last year.
