The new park which is described as “long awaited” will be located close to the previous park, near to the primary school according to Lagoa council.

The new Children's Park will have five pieces of equipment, with a pirate island theme, a boat with multiple functions, a double swing with a nest, a tower made up of two slides, in the shape of “Palm Trees”, a suspended rope swing and a Seesaw. It will have a support bar with a terrace, toilets and a garden area, with a fence for user safety, lighting, benches and waste bins.

Remember that Praia do Carvoeiro currently does not have any Children's Park, as the one that existed was dismantled for safety reasons.
