This new coin, aimed at collectors, features the national shield on the front, surrounded by the inscriptions “Portugal” and “2024”, in addition to the face value, together with the shields of the eight countries that make up the series in 2024.

On the other side, we can see a typical tram on a narrow street in the city of Lisbon. The legend “XIII Série”, “Ibero-American Capitals” and “Casa da Moeda” complement the design, along with the author’s indication and the inscription “Lisbon”.

Distribution to the public, as Executive Digest tells us, will be carried out through banking institutions, Banco de Portugal treasuries and Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda stores.

The issuance limit was set at 25,000 coins with a normal finish, thus guaranteeing the exclusivity and appreciation of this collectible piece.

This new addition to the “Ibero-American” series not only celebrates the cultural and historical richness of Ibero-American capitals, but also highlights the beauty and heritage of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
