The prolonged period of rain in Portugal seems to be over for most of the country – but the clear skies and warm temperatures are not here to stay.

The best of the weather this week is forecast for Friday when it will reach highs of 23ºC in the Algarve, 24ºC in Lisbon, 26ºC in Braga, 27ºC in Évora, and 28ºC in Santarém.
There will then be a sharp drop in temperatures on Saturday according to forecasts from the IPMA, with rain forecasted and expected to continue throughout the weekend for most of Portugal.
